Dental practices
GEO and AIO for dentists
When someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini, or Google's AI Overviews for a dentist in your town, one or two practices get named. This is how you become one of them.
Three ways to do it: we train your team, run a hands-on workshop on your own site, or take the whole thing on for you.

The prompts that matter
What your patients are typing into an assistant
These are the questions we baseline against. We run them, record which practices get named, and show you the transcripts before proposing anything.
- “Best dentist near me for a nervous patient”
- “How much do dental implants cost in [town]?”
- “Which dental practices near [town] take NHS patients?”
- “Invisalign vs traditional braces — who fits both locally?”
- “Emergency dentist open on a Saturday in [town]”
Why this is different for dentists
How it is delivered
Learn it, do it with us, or hand it over
Training
We teach your team to do it.
A half or full day for your whole team. What GEO and AIO actually are, how assistants choose sources, and the specific changes that move the needle for your practice. You leave able to do the work.
Implementation workshop
We do it with you, on your site, on the day.
A working session rather than a lecture. We audit live, then make the changes together on your own site and content. You keep the work and the method.
Full implementation
We do it for you.
We run the whole programme: audit, structured data, content, third-party sources, and ongoing measurement. Scoped and quoted per practice, because the work depends on what you already have.
Pricing
What it costs
Half days start at £450 + VAT, delivered in person. One rate covers your whole team, whatever the format you choose.
- Half day
- £450 + VAT
- At your practice. 4 hours, travel included.
- Full day
- £787.50 + VAT per day
- A full 8-hour day at your practice, travel included.
Why in person costs more: The day rate covers your trainer's travel, accommodation, and time on the road. There is no separate expenses charge added afterwards.
Preparation is included: We spend one to three hours before your session preparing the materials and travelling to you. We plan the training with you and tailor the material to your business, your tools, and what you need the training to achieve. That time is included in the rate and is never charged in addition.
Full implementation is scoped and quoted per practice, because the work depends on what you already have. It runs under our standard commercial terms rather than the training guarantee — see the guarantee page for how that works.
Where we come from
Search, AI, and data science — not one of the three
GEO sits exactly where those three disciplines meet, which is why so much advice about it is half right. Search people treat it as SEO with extra steps. AI people treat it as prompt engineering. Neither gets you cited.
Search
Technical SEO, structured data, and the third-party sources that decide whether a machine can resolve who you are.
AI
How assistants retrieve, weight, and attribute sources — and where that differs between ChatGPT, Gemini, and AI Overviews.
Data science
Prompt sets, baselines, and repeat measurement, so share of citation is a number you can track rather than a feeling.
What the work involves
- 01Assistant visibility auditWe run the prompts your patients actually use across the major assistants and record what each one says, who it cites, and where you appear. You get the transcripts, not a summary.
- 02Entity and citation groundworkPractice, clinicians, treatments, and locations described so a machine can resolve who you are and what you do. Structured data, consistent naming, and the third-party sources assistants lean on.
- 03Answer-shaped contentTreatment and fee pages rebuilt to answer the question directly in the first sentence, because that is the passage an assistant lifts and attributes.
- 04MeasurementPrompt sets re-run on a schedule so you can see share of citation move, alongside the enquiries it produces. Assistant traffic is largely invisible in standard analytics unless it is set up for it.
Dental marketing is regulated. Everything we publish is written to the GDC's standards on advertising and claims, and clinical copy stays with your clinicians — we do not write clinical claims on your behalf.
Straight answers
Is GEO just SEO with a new name?
There is overlap, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. Crawlability and authority still matter. What is genuinely different is the unit of competition: you are no longer ranking a page, you are trying to be the source a model cites when it composes one answer. That changes what you publish, how it is structured, and how you measure it.
How is this measured?
A fixed prompt set, re-run on a schedule across the assistants your patients use, recording whether you are named and cited. We baseline before any work starts, so the comparison is against your real starting point rather than a projection.
Can you guarantee we will be recommended?
No, and we would not work with anyone who does. No one controls a model's output. What we control is whether you are findable, resolvable, and quotable — the conditions for being cited. The guarantee we do offer is on the training and workshops: if you are not satisfied, you are not charged.
Do we need to be technical?
No. The training assumes no technical background. If you would rather not do the implementation yourselves, we can do it for you — that is the third option.
Find out where you stand today
We will run your prompt set across the major assistants and show you exactly what they say about dentists in your area, and who they name. No obligation to do anything with it.
