The programme

Three parts, one evening

After the three parts it’s your questions, then drinks and networking until 8:30pm.

Part 1 · With Ethan Clarke-Wooster

Where AI actually saves time and money

The everyday jobs where AI earns its keep in a small business, and the ones where it lets you down.Read more

Ethan opens the evening with what AI is genuinely good for in a small business today, and where it will cost you time and money instead of saving them.

What works
Repetitive jobs AI handles well, like processing supplier invoices or pulling tender documents together.
What doesn't
The tasks where it lets you down, so you don't pay to find out the hard way.
Where to start
How to pick the one task in your own business that is worth trying first.
Part 3 · Fireside chat with Dr Jonathan Ashong-Lamptey

The people side: using AI safely

A fireside chat on client data, decisions you can explain and defend, and bringing a sceptical team with you.Read more

Jonathan, speaking for Coaley Peak, joins Ethan for a conversation about the human side of putting AI to work.

Client data
What should and shouldn't go into an AI tool, and how to keep your clients' information where it belongs.
Decisions
Using AI in ways you can explain and defend, to a client or to your own team.
Your team
Bringing a sceptical team with you, rather than leaving them behind.

Make it about your business

Bring us one real task

When you book, the form asks what you’d like to know about using AI in your business. Use it to tell us one job you’d like sorted, ideally something repetitive, like processing supplier invoices or pulling tender documents together. Or ask how your business shows up when someone searches for it with AI. The Q&A is built from what you send.
