Coaley Peak Ltd has made its proprietary AI platform, Owlpen, available to clients and the wider market. Previously deployed exclusively as an internal operating tool, Owlpen is now offered as a fully managed platform to UK businesses seeking independently verifiable cost reduction and performance improvement.
Owlpen was built in-house by Coaley Peak's team of data engineers, machine learning specialists, and operations analysts. Development began in 2022 as a response to a practical problem: existing analytics and cost-optimisation tools available on the market were either too generic to produce actionable insight or too narrow to cover the breadth of operational data Coaley Peak was working with across client engagements.
Owlpen is built on a combination of open-source and closed-source platforms, integrations, and infrastructure — assembled and configured specifically to make AI practical for businesses that are not primarily digital. The core design principle was accessibility: enabling traditional industries to realise measurable cost savings and performance improvements from AI without needing specialist in-house technical capability. Over three years, the platform was refined through live use across dozens of client engagements spanning manufacturing, professional services, logistics, financial services, and the public sector.
The decision to go to market
The decision to make Owlpen available externally was not planned from the outset. It came from sustained interest among clients who had seen the platform in operation and wanted to understand whether their own teams could access it directly, and from professionals — accountants, consultants, and operations leads — who had been referred to Coaley Peak specifically because of what Owlpen could do.
Over time, the demand became consistent enough to warrant building a structured commercial offering around the platform. The decision was made to release Owlpen to the market while retaining full control of deployment, data security, and the verification process — meaning Owlpen is offered as a fully managed service rather than a self-service product.
What Owlpen does
Owlpen ingests structured and semi-structured operational, financial, and procurement data from a business's existing systems. It applies machine learning models to identify cost inefficiencies, underperforming processes, and opportunities for measurable improvement — producing outputs that are specific, quantified, and traceable back to source data.
All material findings are subject to independent third-party verification before any commercial outcome is agreed. This approach is core to Coaley Peak's pay-on-results model: clients do not pay for findings, projections, or recommendations — they pay only when results are confirmed by a verification body operating independently of Coaley Peak.
The platform integrates with a wide range of ERP, finance, CRM, and procurement systems. Coaley Peak's engineering team manages all integrations, data pipelines, and ongoing model maintenance as part of each engagement.
Availability
Owlpen is available to UK businesses from 23 March 2026. Engagements begin with a scoping process to assess data readiness, system compatibility, and the specific use cases most relevant to a client's operational profile. There is no minimum contract value or retainer requirement. All commercial terms are outcome-based and agreed in writing before any work begins.
Businesses and intermediaries interested in accessing Owlpen can contact Coaley Peak directly via the enquiry form or by emailing hello@coaleypeak.co.uk.
