About the role
AI is changing how businesses operate, but most people in most organisations still do not know how to use it confidently or safely. Coaley Peak's Training & Enablement team exists to change that. As an AI Trainer, you will be the person who makes AI make sense — to a room of fifty people at a conference, to a client team in a morning workshop, and to a learner working through an online course at their own pace.
You will design and deliver training programmes covering: AI fundamentals and practical business applications; how to use the Coaley Peak platform and engines (Owlpen, Anvil, Flint, Warden); prompt engineering and LLM best practices; AI governance, data ethics, and UK regulatory context; and custom programmes built around specific client needs.
This is a highly varied, highly visible role. Some weeks you will be refining online course content and recording modules; others you will be standing on a conference stage in front of hundreds of people. You will work closely with our technical teams to stay current, and with our client-facing teams to understand what our clients actually need to learn.
The kind of person we are looking for
At Coaley Peak, the technical work is only half the job. We are looking for people who are genuinely reliable — who do what they say they will, when they said they would, without needing to be chased. People who are friendly and easy to work with, both with colleagues and with clients. People who can sit in a boardroom and explain a complex AI model in plain English, and then go back to their laptop and write clean, well-documented code. People who are hungry, hard-working, and take real pride in their output — not because someone is watching, but because that is simply how they operate.
You are a natural communicator who finds genuine joy in the moment when something clicks for a learner. You can hold a room — whether that room is a Zoom call with eight people or a conference auditorium with five hundred. You are curious about AI and you keep up with how it is evolving, but you are not showing off: your goal is always to make the person in front of you more capable, more confident, and less afraid. You are organised enough to manage a busy schedule of sessions, honest enough to say when you do not know something, and creative enough to make a technically dry topic genuinely engaging.
What you will do
- →Design, develop, and deliver training across three formats: live online (webinars, virtual workshops), in-person (client offices, training centres), and conference sessions (keynotes, breakout workshops, panel contributions)
- →Build and maintain a library of training materials: slide decks, workbooks, exercises, case studies, and online course modules
- →Deliver foundational AI literacy training to non-technical business audiences — from front-line staff to board-level executives
- →Deliver platform-specific training on Coaley Peak's AI engines to client teams onboarding to our services
- →Design and deliver bespoke training programmes for enterprise clients with specific learning objectives
- →Keep training content current with developments in AI, LLM capabilities, and UK regulatory guidance
- →Represent Coaley Peak at industry conferences, trade events, and public speaking engagements
- →Gather feedback from every session and continuously improve programme quality
- →Work with our marketing team to promote training offerings and build Coaley Peak's profile as an AI education leader
What we are looking for
Essential
- →Demonstrable experience designing and delivering training to professional audiences — in-person, online, or both
- →Confident, engaging presentation skills: comfortable in front of any size audience without heavy reliance on notes
- →Good working knowledge of AI concepts, large language models, and practical AI business applications
- →Strong content creation skills: able to turn complex technical concepts into clear, engaging learning materials independently
- →Excellent written English: training materials must be accurate, accessible, and professionally produced
- →Right to work in the United Kingdom; willingness to travel UK-wide regularly
Desirable (not essential)
- →Formal training or education qualification (CELTA, CIPD L&D, or equivalent)
- →Experience delivering conference keynotes or large-audience presentations
- →Experience creating online course content (Articulate Rise, Teachable, Kajabi, or similar LMS platforms)
- →Hands-on experience using AI tools in a professional context (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, or similar)
- →Understanding of UK AI governance frameworks and data protection legislation (UK GDPR, DPA 2018)
- →Background in a technical field (data, software, marketing technology, or similar)
What we offer
- →Salary of £38,000 – £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience, reviewed annually
- →28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- →Flexible working — remote-first with UK-wide travel for in-person delivery
- →Private healthcare and employee assistance programme (EAP)
- →£2,000 annual professional development budget
- →All travel, accommodation, and conference expenses covered
- →The platform and support to build a genuine public profile as an AI education expert
- →Regular team offsites and an annual international travel programme
- →Accredited Living Wage Employer
